Our Lady’s Comforter of the Afflicted School is a small Catholic school located in Waltham, MA, that serves Pre-K through 8th grade students. You can find us on the Web at: www.ourladyschool.org.

Our small library currently utilizes an outdated card catalog system. The PTO has raised funds to purchase cataloging software as well as several hundred new books. We are in need of a student, or a group of students, to bring our library into the 21st century! We are looking for someone to help us implement and maintain a barcode-based cataloging program, apply creative ways for young students to learn relevant library skills, and generally infect us with a love of books.
This volunteer position can be a great opportunity for you to be part of something exciting! You'll find that we are a very dedicated group of parents who will gladly help organize and assist with all p hases of this library improvement.
