2. Guest Speaker Opportunities
Looking to increase financial literacy on your campus? Members of the MSCPA are available to speak to students on financial matters including general budgeting, avoiding and reducing credit card debit, student loans, building a savings account, and much more. These topics are especially important for freshmen living on their own for the first time and seniors that will be planning for life after college. 3. College Educators/Practitioners Workshop - November 13, 2009
A breakfast meeting for college educators and practitioners has been tentatively set for November 13. The agenda will include a panel discussion of current hiring trends and ways to transition into public accounting in a difficult economy. Career center representatives will be welcome to accompany their accounting faculty. (More details, including venue information, will follow.)
