Upcoming Service Events through student involvement and leadership development:
10/3 SMOC Saturday of Service – Halloween Decoration and Clean up of Shelter
Cook brunch for families and decorate for Halloween. If you cannot attend the event, there is an opportunity to donate Halloween decorations.
10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. - Clinton Street Shelter. (Limited space!)
10/25 Muscular Dystrophy Association Stride and Ride
All donations go to researching a cure for MD. Sign up and you will be forwarded information to start fundraising.
All day event, registration begins at 10:00 a.m. at Solomon Pond Mall, Marlborough, MA (No cap on volunteers).
11/14 Citizens Energy Weatherization of Low-Income Senior Homes
Teams of two will weatherize two homes over the course of the day. A pre-event training is required for participation. A post-event thank you reception will be held in Boston that evening.
All day event, 8:00 a.m. - ??
11/14 Leaf raking with Jewish Family Services
Rake leaves and clean-up yard for those who are not able. The more volunteers we have, the more homes we can rake! We are going green for this event – no Power Tools, only Rakes.
11/21 Rain Date for Leaf Raking
Transportation details will be made available after confirmation of registering for the event.
